Staybridge Suites celebrated the dedication and ribbon-cutting of four new villas in the Fairy Tale Forest.
Hosting fundraisers and engaging guests at its 157 hotel locations nationwide, Staybridge employees worked together to bring this special gift to Give Kids The World.
GOLF CHANNEL employees returned for their annual Cares Day event at Give Kids The World Village to celebrate the opening of two new villas in the Fairy Tale Forest. GOLF CHANNEL proudly supports Give Kids The World with charitable contributions, in-kind donations and volunteer efforts. The tremendous gift of the villas allows GKTW to welcome an additional 120 families a year.
Give Kids The World celebrated the grand opening of its newest villa in the Fairy Tale Forest. The Children’s Place generously funded the building and several District Managers from the Southeast Region joined Village staff and families to officially cut the ribbon.
New to the Castle of Miracles, Twinkle Hope’s La Ti Da Royal Spa! The Village proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting and dedication of Twinkle Hope’s La Ti Da Royal Spa. Karen Davis from Hasbro, Inc., helped GKTW President Pamela Landwirth cut the ribbont the fun-filled event. At the Spa, Wish Children, their siblings and their young-at-heart parents can choose from services including face painting, make-up and nail polish application, air brushed tattoos, hand massages, and photo sessions complete with whimsical costumes! Thanks to Hasbro’s generous donation the Village now has a glamorous new way to pamper our Wish Families.
Give Kids The World celebrated the opening of 10 new Villas generously adopted by Signature Flight Support. The villas will allow GKTW to welcome 600 families a year. For five years, Signature Flight Support has been a generous partner of Give Kids The World.
Amidst brightly colored balloons, delicious food and excited guests, Give Kids The World celebrated the opening of Katie’s Kitchen, the Village’s newest restaurant. Generously sponsored by Boston Market, Katie’s Kitchen provides complimentary meals for the Village’s Wish families.
Todd Fairbanks, president of the Something mAAgic Foundation, joined the foundation's Board of Directors and volunteers from American Airlines for the dedication of the new American Airlines Villa. As part of the festivities, Something mAAgic also presented Give Kids The World president Pamela Landwirth with the final installment of the three-year pledge to build the Villa for the families who stay at the Village.
Tom Walsh from Burger King joined the Village team to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of the charming cottage-style Villa. Thanks to Tom’s enthusiasm for GKTW and Burger King’s Have It Your Way Foundation, the new villa will soon accommodate our visiting families. Mary Ollinger, executive director of Make-A-Wish South Dakota, and her family helped celebrate this special grand opening.
The Fairy Tale Forest will soon be a place where dreams come true. Things Remembered joined GKTW for the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the first new villa in the expansion. Complete with its castle-theme and colorful purple roof, Things Remembered generously sponsored the villa in honor of the company's founder, Suzanne Sutter.
The beloved children's game, Candy Land, has come to life at Give Kids The World. Through a generous gift Hasbro, Inc helped the Village add a playground unlike any other - complete with the Gumdrop Trail, seven-foot tall lollipops, this "sweet" land features a fully accessible playground and the chance to play "The World's Largest Candy Land Game."
